know i have been absent again. And for a long time. I have thought and thought about what to post and although i have had many, many wonderful ideas none of them seemed willing to stand still long enough for me to capture them and place them on my blogging desk. For the most part i have been conflicted about where i will level my undivided attention. This is always an issue for me. There is just so much about my life to love. I discover an endless flow of inspiration everywhere i look.
So i have been flitting around my art room dabbling in this and experimenting with that. Actually i have accomplished quite a lot. I have made gifts, wrapped them up and sent them out. I love wrapping gifts, tying them up with ribbons and string. While at the Post Office i create a stir of delight amongst the postal workers with my custom designed address labels. They're very wow :)
So i ask myself daily, multiple times. What do i want to do?
Will it be digital art?

My photography? Working in Photoshop?
Or what about my newest art form, the one Natalie taught me, making little dioramas for soldering?
and little charms?
No matter what else i do in a day i inevitably end up looking at photographs and videos of my little peach Olivia. She called me on the telephone today to tell me: "I get treat! I went pee pee!" So entertaining :) So smart! I cannot fathom why it is i am so blessed. I have done nothing to deserve the grace that is my life.

Happy, Merry Christmas Robin! My, how that baby has grown! And, I want a pink tree like the one in the background! LOL...
I hope that all has been well with you. I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, but my eyes can only handle being at the computer for limited amounts of time. By the time I get through emails, etc., well...
I will try to visit more often though. It is always such a lovely stop here at Bird Tweets!

Merry Christmas, Robin! Yes, you are blessed! It's great to hear how happy and inspired you are in your life and the photography and art pieces you've created are wonderful to see. I hope that 2010 is just as - if not more - inspiring and creative for you. Hope you are having a wonderful time with your loved ones, including sweetiepie Olivia, this holiday season.

That is the beauty of life. You need do nothing to deserve the joy and love that surrounds you - it is yours by virtue of us being alive. Though you are wonderful and would deserve every blessing that comes your way anyway.
That second photo - of Olivia - just wow.
I hope you have a very merry Christmas, my dear Robin! I hope you can feel my virtual hug. (By the way, you left the sweetest comment on a blog post a while ago and I was immensely touched by it. Thank you seems inadequate somehow.)

Your photos always take my breath away!

Don't sell yourself short, my dear! What have you done to deserve such things? Oh, not much -- except being a wonderful friend, a loving daughter, a caring sibling, a hip and happy Gran, a doggie-mum, a Rachel mum, a wife, one who cares for others in ways not flaunted (but deeply appreciated more than you know). Oh, and the talents -- knock 'em, sock 'em, WOW! You have so many gifts, and I'm thrilled this has been a year of discovering them (or perhaps, rediscovering them) for you.
We ALL deserve happiness -- maybe not having it is why people who aren't so kind are that way. If you don't know what it is, how can you give and love with great joy? But the fact is, those who give so much simply must have it in their world, for don't you see, what goes round, comes round? Of course you do!
Merry Christmas, my friend. And joy and peace in the new year.

It's true, so true that you are talented beyond measure. I'd be very jealous if you weren't so totally wonderful. You have a really great array of talents, but I have to say, your greatest talent is being a girlfriend. You're better at it than anyone I know. I love you, my friend In case I don't get by here tomorrow, and of course, it is highly unlikely, it being Christmas day and all. I wanted to wish you the happiest, the merriest, the laughingest Christmas you've ever enjoyed. Merry Christmas, my friend.

I can commiserate with you on what to do. I am also pulled between several loves and a small business too. I am learning to do soldered art, glass fusing, and photography too. I love it all.
Your art and photography is all so beautiful. You have a true artists eye.

Miss Olivia is so adorable. I love the photos of her. And those soldered goosies are simply delightful! The hat style one is sheer brillance with the metal snow in the bottom. You are truly a creative soul and I am so blessed to be able to enjoy your creative muse. Mery Christmas dear friens...Merry Christmas.
