Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in all souls,
It sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,
I've heard it in the chillest land,
And on the darkest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,
Will it leave you or me..
My Interpretation of the Poem by Emily Dickenson
Everything passes away~
suffering, pain, blood, hunger, pestilence.
The sword will pass away too, but the stars will still remain
when the shadows of our presence and our deeds
have vanished from the earth.
~Mikhail Bulgakov, in The White Guard~
Please help those who have lost hope find it again.
love robin
Robin, this is breathtaking! How do you do it? You take a photograph to soaring levels my friend.

Nicely done my dear! Hope rising from despair. You've always been spot on with metaphoric depictions.

What a beautiful image! I just adore it (and you, of course, sweet girl!).

Your post is thought provoking and sincere. Life can be a surprising affair....tragedy is one side of the coin...love in the face of tragedy is what the world can provide.

This image is absolutely stunning for your text, Robin. It's even more so because of the 365 paper, origami cranes I made one year, similar to these. I would gladly release them all to the Universe for helping Haiti!

It is hard to find words for such large scale sorrow. Your image and words are beautiful.

It's heartbreaking to see all the little children in the news. If I could i would take care of them and protect them.
What a gorgeous image I love it!
