whoa... this is an arresting photo! it perfectly embodies the passage of time (at least to my eye.) i'm excited to check out vision & verb - sounds deep.

Hey, you. I am so, so far behind on my blog visiting. But, here it is Valentine's Day and I had to stop by and wish you a great one.

a wish from me:

On this day, may you know, really know how much you are loved. May you recognize love in all it's forms. May you be grateful for the love of children and pets, old friendships and new. May you and Joe enjoy every minute of growing old together. (Of course, the old part is a long long way away.) May your heart swell with all the beauty this life brings. Happy Valentine's Day, my dear friend.

Dear Robin...

You have not been blogging for a long time now. Hoping you and your camera are doing WELL! Maybe I should go over and read at Vision & Verb instead.
And this picture above is ALSO lovely... as your pictures allways are. Like how the clock is the only focused thing as a little remonder that she is in this world and no-where else.

Hoping your year has started well. It is Sunday here and I will just relax and be in silence :-)

Hello Robin. I have seen your photos on the Barn House blog and love your work. I love taking photos...and am actually taking a class right now trying to learn as much as I can. I would love to know what camera you use and why you love it.

mooch

surreal lovliness for sure. I don't know how you make getting older seem eloquent as my poor body screams it at me every day...LOUDLY...and it is anything but eloquent! lol I love your postive outlook on things and how you seem to find beauty in all things.

Mermaid Debbie

Oh, that image is gorgeous! Congrats to you!

YOur photos are gorgeous. And I know that the word is too simple for your images and I apologize. I always wondered about great photographers, do you wait and wait and wait? Do images suddenly appear before you? Or do you go out - knowing what you want to shoot?

gorgeous photo! it has been awhile; visiting from soul aperature

Gorgeous ethereal image and beautiful words, my sweet little bird. It's funny to me, because I always fancied you a "deep-breather"..there's something so calm and smooth with how you are in a room. I enjoy it every time I've been with you. I'm glad that breathing is something in the forefront for you now in this "second half"...I could use some myself as I am shortened-breath-breather...lovingly, you probably saw this in me already :)
I miss you and am looking forward to seeing you after your trip!

I love your post and the Vision and Verb. As we go through these different passages in life, it is interesting how we each perceive what we are feeling accepting the "rights of passage. Thank you dear friend. Florence

This is stunning Robin. I'd say it's the dance of a sugar plum fairy come to life. A dream within a dream and all those magical moments that live within us. Brava!

Rosa

WOW! The colors totally change the feel of the image. Amazing what a little processing can do. Absolutely stunning!! I've said it before..am saying it again - one day I'd like to talk about how you create such exquisite canvases!!!

dutchbaby
