Sitting comfortable at a table in the corner of the noisy cafe i rummaged through the tall stack of art and photography magazines before me. At random i pulled out the newest issue of Somerset Life and opened it to the table of contents. I felt the effects of surprise as color rushed to my cheeks. Truly i should have known but i simply didn't realize that the first installment of my Authentic Living articles would be in this issue :)
I've been out of touch with the online world and my own blog. Truth be told i feel relieved to have this announcement as a prompt to begin anew. It had become such a long absence that i couldn't think of a way to start. So here we are, a new year and a new post!!
I want to thank Julie from The Withies for granting me full access to her heavenly garden as i prepared photographs for this article. The photo above is from her garden, Hollyhocks on the Corner. Thank you so much Julie for the constant inspiration to cultivate beauty in my life.
I have one more link i want to share. Sitting right next to my own article is one written by another dear friend Isabel from Maison Douce. Her words as beautiful as are her photographs!
So glad to see you back!!! We've been waiting, but we know life happens...

Oh, Robin, I've missed you so very much -- have often been concerned or afraid life hasn't been treating you well for whatever reason. Hoping it was just lots of other diversions. It's wonderful to have you back -- and with such terrific news! Congratulations on that.
And your portraits of Kylie are just stunning.
