I love my Queen. Anyone who has been to the Tarte barn knows that Cindy has a unique vision and style. She is also quite photogenic. I have taken many, many portraits of Cindy and part of the reason she is so photogenic is that her inner qualities shine through all that loveliness. Each photograph reveals something special. She has a genuinely kind nature. She is unpretentious, charming and fun. I think that anyone who meets Cindy can't help but be attracted to her personality and seemingly boundless energy. As i said, i love my Queen.
Jake also loves his Queen. He keeps her company at the barn by following her everywhere. That is unless he is busy napping amongst the fluffy pillows.
Last Saturday's sale had a Paris in spring theme. Very mauve, very turquoise, very classy.
The literal translation of this is French sign is "good festival". My guess is that is is more likely to be encouraging us to have fun at the party.
Which these royal folks seem to be doing.
The literal translation from french to English for this sign is "good night." Although this is from a sale past it gives you an idea of what treasures await you if you come to the next sale which happens on May 22nd.
Cindy is also going to join with the Barn House boys at their 2010 season opening on May 8th.
And while you have your calendars out reserve the date of their next big event, their season highlight. The barn House Flea Market is open one day only on July 31st. This is an event not to be missed. It will feature the best vintage artisans in the area and is always an over the top event. This is not just a sale only but an EVENT. Food, fun, friends and inspiration galore.
