his project certainly has been a long time in the making. It started way back in March of '09 as a sliver of an idea. Since that time i have taken hundreds of photos of the boys at their farm. I feel so fortunate to be a part of the Barn House family. One of the many gifts i have received from my friends Jermonne and Joe was this opportunity to develop my skills as a photographer and writer. I felt their support and loyalty each step on the journey from conception to final publication. Thank you my friends. You have been awesome this past year. I am looking forward to the next on-the-farm season as well as the opening of the new on-line shop Barn House Marketplace!
The title of the article is Barn House Mystique. The editorial team selects a title for Somerset Life articles and i believe this one was in part chosen because of the diaphanous structure they chose to feature on the title page. You remember the Taj Ma Tent of last summer don't you? It was created by Deb from Retreat for the summer flea market at Barn House. I included a photograph in this post to remind you of the glorious possibilities for creating your own summer retreat inspired by the creative minds of Deb & Bob.
Here is a photograph of the talent. Handsome devils too aren't they?

Of course you recognize these charms right? Made by Natalie.
It has been a great year for me as an aspiring photographer and writer. I already have projects in the works for this year that i am very excited about. Something a little closer to my own home. Just a little hint there :)
I'll be by to see you all soon!
