I have been away again for too long. I don't know what to say except to repeat what i wrote to Susanna. "I have been torn between living my life and writing about my life. I don't seem to be adept at having both at the same time." It has been a challenge all of my life to multitask. I won't spend time explaining this because those of you who visit me or know me have heard this many times before.
This is sweet little Hattie. She had a full page spread with her mama Natalie in my last Somerset Life Article. A worthier sweet face for a magazine there never was. She was the cutest guest at the impromptu housewarming get together at Leah's new house last week. Sorry girls, you're cute but not this cute.

It would be useless for me to post more photos since those taken by the other girls were fantastic.
Lara and I have this 'in the mirror' thing going and we intend to do this whenever we are together. It's good self -portrait practice using a DSLR which is not near so easy to get good focus as a point and shoot. We're cute :)
And finally this is a rhubarb-strawberry parfait that i created on Sunday during the beautiful warm weather. Our rhubarb was ready for picking and although the strawberries are purchased from the grocery store we have some new plants of our own in the garden that will soon have their berries available for our enjoyment.
